From our latest Lead staff promotion all the way to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), what so many of our leadership staff have in common is that they started as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In fact, over 75% of our Middle Management and Upper Management staff began their careers as DSPs. DSPs work directly with students, helping them to learn new skills, engage in sensory activities, and meet their goals. We have a variety of flexible scheduling options for PT and FT roles to help you live your best life.

DSP Employee Testimonials:
“The best thing about working at Chileda is seeing so many smiling faces. Each day I get to see students light up when they are able to complete a task or make progress on one of their goals. And it is so rewarding to be apart of a team that is dedicated to the success of our students. The staff at Chileda are some of the most caring and passionate people I’ve ever worked with. I feel honored to serve our students with them!”
“Working at Chileda has been life changing! Being able to watch the progress the kids make on a daily basis is amazing to see. The excitement they experience over little things is what makes my day. I never thought I would find a job that I LOVE going to until I started at Chileda.”
Behavior Technician
As a Behavior Technician, you will work with clients (ages 3-17) in their homes and/or in the community. You will work with them on developing social skills, play skills, independent living skills, emotional regulation skills, or any other skill development from which they may benefit from. You will be paired with a client whose schedule needs match your availability, so you may see one client 2 hours per week, or you could see several clients and work up to 20 hours per week. You could work with a 4-year-old in their home on toilet training and eating skills, and/or work with a 17-year-old in the community on shopping and money management.
Behavior Technician Testimonials:
“It is truly amazing to see the kids we work with make progress each day towards their goals. There is nothing better than seeing a kid light up when they are proud of themselves or when they are using the skills they have been working so hard to learn. Not only is it great to see the kids learn and grow, but I also love working with the families and having the ability to support them and give them the tools they need to succeed. I am proud to be part of Behavior Solutions; a team that is truly dedicated to the success of serving our kids and their families in our community.”
“Working closely with the students and their families is one of my favorite parts of this job and something unique to the In-Home Support Services program. In this field, you really get to know both the client and their family and truly feel like you are making a difference in their lives. I feel a great sense of fulfillment in the everyday activities to do with my clients and seeing the impact I’m having on their lives. You also work alongside a small and supportive team of people who are always willing to answer questions and help you out if you need it.”
