The success
of Chileda isn't measured in its finances. We operate on a budget that is modest, but sufficient. The value
of our services is more fairly measured by their educational benefit
to the children we serve.
It takes a
great deal of money to care for and educate children with developmental
disabilities. To provide the special programs and services these
kids need and deserve, we depend on generous contributions from
private individuals, as well as corporate gifts.
Gifts of
cash are usually the most convenient way to make a charitable contribution.
Stocks, bonds and appreciated property are popular types of contributions
and allow for additional tax benefits.
Planned
giving options are also available. Consider Chileda as an estate
planning opportunity. Naming Chileda in your will or creating a
memorial are excellent endowment contributions.
Consult your
tax counselor to identify the giving method that is best for you.
Tax laws have been designed to provide incentives for donors to
give to non-profit organizations like Chileda. All contributions
are tax deductible.
With your
generous participation and thoughtfulness, Chileda will position
itself to better serve youths with physical and mental disabilities,
now and in the future. We continue to look "onward and upward"
in the hope that, someday, all youngsters will live full and productive
lives.
To assure
that contributions are judiciously managed, we have established
the Chileda Foundation.
The Chileda Women's Board
assists us with purchasing out-of-budget items.
You can support Chileda by donating online or by mailing our printable donation form.
